Snowdon 2017 - 3 Routes in 3 Days

Snowdonia, Wales - 9 Jun 2017

Why not get a group of Lily supporters to climb Snowdon multiple times in one weekend. To make it even more challenging,  you could complete a different route each day!

This event was an amazing success in 2016, with 42 brave supporters raising an incredible £25000. Some completed every climb, some just one. All coming away with incredible memories and a real sense of achievement.

This event is once again sponsored by the generous Dancor Group, from the 9th-11th June we are asking people to join The Lily Foundation Snowdon Challenge Team, completing 3 routes in 3 days. You can do all of them or just one or two.

The challenge:
Day 1. Friday June 9th - The Pyg Track. Climbing 2372 feet on a 3.5 mile path which will take around 3 hours and back down the Llanberis Path again - a 3215 feet descent on a 5 mile path taking around 3 hours.

Day 2. Saturday June 10th - The Snowdon Ranger. Climbing 3071 feet on a 4 mile path which will take around 3 hours and back down the Llanberis Path again - a 3215 feet descent on a 5 mile path taking around 3 hours.

Day 3. Sunday June 11th - The Miner's Track. Climbing 2372 feet on a 4 mile path which will take around 3 hours and back down the Llanberis Path again - a 3215 feet descent on a 5 mile path taking around 3 hours.

All the climbs are on well-established paths with the occasional scramble. There are no ropes etc.

There is no registration fee, we just ask you to set up a fundraising page and raise what you can to help us beat Mitochondrial Disease and support all our amazing families. It really is a special event where friendships are formed and people learn they can do more than they ever felt possible.

Our lead for 2017 will be Dave, Lily's Dad but people complete the climb at their own pace in their own time. We will supply you with a special t-shirt and support over your weekend.

Join today and be part of something very special!
