The Ultra - Marathon

Dave completed the 50 mile ultra marathon in 11 hours and 18 mins.

Dave and 68 others braved the snowy and icy conditions and ran along the Thames Tow Path for 50 miles from Oxford to Henley.

Although 300 competitors entered the race, only 69 started the race.  Steve Adams who organised the challenge said that it was not that the competitors were put off by the weather, but that they were unable to get to the start due to being snowed in.

Dave came in 44th and is proud to have finished.
