Whyteleafe Fun Day
Organised by Donna Coote at the end of July at Whyteleafe Football Club - and thanks to Mark Coote, chairman of the club, for his support and that of all the Coote family and Formark Scaffolding. Everyone had a great day with stalls, BBQ, raffle, a tug-o-war, bouncy castles, soft play area for young children, penalty shootout and side show games. The weather was perfect and Donna and her team raised £700 for The Lily Foundation.
Captains Charity Golf Day
Graham Perry has chosen to support The Lily Foundation during his reign as Captain at Sapey Golf Club this year and started by holding a golf day at the beginning of July - many thanks Graham.
Charity Party at Chinawhites, Supporting The Lily Foundation
This party was organised by Camilla Rogers a friend of Dave Camis whose son Charlie is living with a Mitochondrial Disease. Camilla ran The Virgin London Marathon for The Lily Foundation on Sunday 17th April. Camilla was determined to spread the word about Charlie's condition, Mitochondrial Disease and The Lily Foundation. She hosted this party to do just that and raise funds. Over 300 people attended this event to see Camilla's (very brave!) friends and family strut their stuff on the catwalk in a range of clothing kindly donated for the evening. Camilla's event raised a HUGE amount of money - £24,082.20.
Bridie Bears Golf Challenge
A great day was had by all we are waiting to hear how much was raised from this event.
