Ever wished you could deal mitochondrial disease a knockout punch? Then listen up.
We're calling for boxers to compete in Lily Fight Night, our annual charity boxing event.
No previous boxing experience is required – just a willingness to take a bruising for a good cause and help fight mitochondrial disease!
Competitors will have the chance to fight in front of a 700 strong audience at The Clapham Grand, with your friends, family or work colleagues roaring you on. It makes for a fabulous and memorable night.
For boxers who want to get in shape for the big night, weekly evening training sessions will be available from January at State of Mind Fitness in Hammersmith (exact dates to be confirmed).
To take part, applicants are required to sell a minimum of 20 tickets and raise a minimum £500 in sponsorship.
Deadline for applications is 23rd November
As places are limited, you'll be asked to include a few words explaining what inspired you to step into the ring for The Lily Foundation.
We recommend you apply with an opponent eg. a friend or a work colleague. This is what makes our night unique. Both parties will need to apply separately – please remember to include the name of your partner on the application form so we know who to match you with.
All our Lily Fight Nights have been hosted by the Sky Sports boxing team, and last year we raised a record £61k to fight mitochondrial disease. With your help, we're hoping to do even better this year!
