How To Get Involved
There are many ways you can get involved and help raise money for The Lily Foundation, by either joining in with a fund raising event that we are organising or being creative and doing your own thing! A cake sale, a garden party, coffee morning, tombola, a school fair, running, cycling, swimming or walking. However you decide to get involved your efforts and support will be very much appreciated. Please contact us and we will help you as much as we can.
Get Physical
The Parachute Jump - any time at a location near you!
If you have ever wanted to do a parachute jump here is your chance. The Lily Foundation are looking for hundreds of adventurous volunteers to make a fundraising parachute jump and if you raise enough in sponsorship (from £360 depending on which jump you do) you will get to jump for free! There are three types of jump available an 'Accelerated FreeFall' where you can experience the thrill of skydiving solo from up to 12,000 feet, a 'Tandem Skydive' from 10,000 feet attached to a professional instructor and a 'Static Line' jump which is performed solo from up to 3000 feet. Just Walk - Start at Goodwood Race Course
Saturday 15th May 2010
The BIG 60km Route – £65
If you are looking for a real challenge to raise money for the Lily Foundation then this is the route for you. The route takes you through some of the most stunning countryside in Britain with picturesque villages and towns such as Arundel along the way. It is tough, but the biggest sense of achievement when you cross the finish line.
40km Route - £55
If you feel the BIG challenge above is just a little too far then this route would suit you perfectly. New for 2009 it captures the first half of the 60km route and then drops back down to the finish. This route is still a rewarding challenge to complete.
20km Route - £45 for over 12s and £10 for under 12s
The gentle 20km is suitable for all ages and great for walking with a group of family or friends to raise money for your charity. This route takes you through some of the picturesque villages of West Sussex as well as along the beautiful South Downs.
10km Route -Adults £15, children under 12s free.
Get a taste of the Just Walk Event and take part in this great family day out where you can raise funds for you charity by completing the 10km walking challenge.

BUPA London 10,000
Bank Holiday Monday 31st May 2010 - WE HAVE GUARANTEED PLACES FOR THIS EVENT

Organised by NOVA (organisers of the Great North Run) and the London Marathon.
The Bupa London 10,000 starts and finishes in St. James's Park and uses Green Park as its assembly area.The race starts on Birdcage Walk and follows an anti-clockwise route around the City of Westminster and the City of London via Parliament Square, Embankment, Blackfriars Bridge, Queen Victoria Street, Cannon Street, Great Tower Street, Crutched Friars, Fenchurch Street, Leadenhall Market, Cornhill, Queen Victoria Street, Puddle Dock, Embankment, Horseguards Avenue, Whitehall and via Trafalgar Square to the Finish in The Mall.
The Lily Foundation has a limited number of guaranteed places for this race. We are asking for £30 registration fee and a minimum of £275 sponsorship.

Nightrider - The London by night bike ride

Organised by Classic Tours, this is a fantastic challenge taking in all the key sights of London by night. Starting at Crystal Palace in south east London. The challenge follows a 100km circular route. Make the most of the quite roads and explore the country's capital city by moonlight on your bike. The Royal Parks Half Marathon

Organised by The Royal Parks Foundation this half marathon is now in its 3rd year. It starts and finishes in Hyde Park. It is a beautiful run that celebrates the natural history and heritage of The Royal Parks and encourages all of us to keep fit and healthy.
