Honour Lily’s legacy with an £18 gift

When baby Lily came into the world 18 years ago, no one could have guessed the legacy she would leave behind. To commemorate what would have been her 18th birthday this month, her family have signed up to run the London Landmarks Half Marathon together next April, and they need your support to get them over the line.

They’re taking on this fundraising challenge to help put mitochondrial disease on the map all the way along London’s most famous lanes and landmarks. You can help by sponsoring them just £18 to spur them across that finish line.

Did you know it’s World Mitochondrial Disease Week from 16th-22nd September? From Land’s End to John O’Groats, we want to get everyone talking about mito. Because getting mito in the public eye helps drive research, boost donations and improve clinical services
