Our annual Charity Ball is our biggest Lily Fundraising event of the year and we are aiming to raise a massive £100,000 to fund vital research and family support for those whose lives are affected by mitochondrial disease. Take a look at Claire, Matt and Jess' stories to see how much your support means to our 'Lily families'.

What have we achieved over the past 11 years with your support:

• We have changed the law on mitochondrial donation
• We have developed and funded our own genetic testing programme
• We currently fund 7 UK research projects
• We have funded researchers, scientists and specialist nurses in the UK
• We send our families on respite breaks to Center Parcs
• We help to fund specialist equipment
• We connect our families so that they are not alone on their journey. We have now become one big Lily Family
• We support now over 500 UK families, often from diagnosis through to end of life and beyond

Auction Items / Raffle Prizes

We rely solely on kind donations from our supporters for the items that we auction at our ball. Our auction items are gifts that money can't buy: Experiences, tickets, holidays and high value items. Do you have a holiday home you could donate for a week? Do you have connections with the theatre or with theme parks? Do any of your friends or work colleagues have connections that might be able to help? Gifts signed by celebrities? If you personally don't have a gift to donate, it would mean the world to us if you could ask around. Please contact [email protected]

Sell a VIP table to the ball

We have an amazing VIP package available for this year's event, with free beers, wine and house spirits as part of the ticket price, together with great brand promotion opportunities. Our VIP tables are £2500 for 10 people. Take a look at our website for more information and to purchase tickets.

Be our main sponsor for our chocolate ball. To assist with our silent auction bidding and direct donations we will be using an ipad / tablet pledging system. There will be 2 tablets on every table for guests to use throughout the evening to place their bids and any other donations. This provides an excellent sponsorship opportunity as we can place logos and full adverts on the individual tablets. In addition we can also promote your brand on the giant update screens that will be in operation throughout the night.

Choc-tastic Raffle Bars: £5000

Everyone loves chocolate! We will be hosting a very special raffle at this year's ball with special prize tickets hidden inside chocolate bars. If you would like to be our sponsor, your logo will be printed on every chocolate bar which will certainly draw attention to your brand.

To help our chocolate evening go with a swing, we will be providing wine on every table for our guests (5 bottles per table) and what better way to make a difference to our event, add a smile to our guests faces and have company presence on every table in the ballroom than with printed sponsored wine bottle cuffs.
