‘Take a Stand’ against mito. Set up an awareness stand anywhere in your local area with lots of passing traffic and help put mito on the map!

Join us once again for the annual Lily Comedy Night hosted by the fabulous Kevin Day at London’s iconic Comedy Store. He’ll be joined on stage by some of the UK's top stand-up comedians – details to be announced soon! All proceeds from ticket sales will be used to fight mitochondrial disease.

Are you tough enough? An adventure like no other, Tough Mudder is more than just an obstacle course, it’s a chance to gather your tribe and unplug from the daily grind, and do something unexpected to help us beat mitochondrial disease.

An undulating 1.5k loop within the iconic Alton Towers resort. Starting and finishing outside the Towers, following a path around the rides where family and friends can watch on from the side, or join in with your child.

Looking for a fresh charity challenge to really push yourself? The Battersea Park Marathon takes place on a totally flat course in a picturesque setting so it’s great for anyone looking to set a personal best whilst fighting mitochondrial disease.

Take part in one of the UK's most established road races – the Bath Half Marathon. Join 15,000 fellow runners on the flat, picturesque course and enjoy the electric atmosphere. Whether you're a seasoned runner or a total novice, this event is perfect for everyone.

The London Landmarks Half Marathon is back! This closed-road, central London run is the only half marathon to go through both the City of London and the City of Westminster. We have guaranteed Lily places with free registration so apply today and be there as a mito hero in April 2025.

The UK’s second-largest marathon and one of the biggest in Europe, it’s an iconic event that draws participants of all abilities from all over the world. The next best thing to the Great North Run, the Gateshead Marathon is a road-closed race taking in all the famous landmarks of Gateshead from the Millennium Bridge to the iconic Gateshead International Stadium.
10k
Run yourself into the history books by signing up for the Hampton Court Palace 10k in support of The Lily Foundation. Starting and finishing inside the palace grounds, this iconic course takes you out along The Barge Walk and back through Home Park.
Adrenaline
Imagine standing at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying at 10,000 feet – the noise of the engines and the wind ringing in your ears with only the outline of distant fields below. Now imagine leaning forward out of that doorway and letting go – falling forward into the clouds, skydiving down through the air as you start free falling at over 120mph!

This is the real thing and should only be undertaken by those who really want to learn what skydiving is all about! Learning to skydive solo is a big challenge and you will receive all the training required including practical and classroom sessions covering all areas of making a solo skydive from 10,000 feet.
