Swimming - 2-mile swim
We have guaranteed places for this 2-mile swim at the largest open water mass participation event in the UK. Aimed at the more experienced swimmer, you’re required to complete two full (1.6km) laps of the Serpentine (it’s recommended that you have previous experience of open water swimming).
5k/fun run - Family-friendly
The Butterfly Run, an accessible event organised by Cure EB, is taking place on Sunday 29th September at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London. Happening just one week after World Mitochondrial Disease Week, it’s a great opportunity to shine a spotlight on other rare diseases too.

Imagine standing at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying at 10,000 feet – the noise of the engines and the wind ringing in your ears with only the outline of distant fields below. Now imagine leaning forward out of that doorway and letting go – falling forward into the clouds, skydiving down through the air as you start free falling at over 120mph!
