Team Avengers

In 2020 James had a stroke-like episode, leading to a diagnosis of MELAS-like mitochondrial disease. Some of the main symptoms include muscle weakness, fatigue and, in certain circumstances, even seizures. Due to the condition being maternally inherited, Lauren (mum), Sian (sister) and Sandra (grandma) have all been diagnosed as well.

It’s a degenerative disease and there’s currently no cure so The Lily Foundation are working hard to raise money to support those with mitochondrial disease and support research into finding a cure.

Please support us by donating as little or as much as you can. Every penny makes a difference!

Thank you.
