Our brave individuals, most with no prior boxing experience, put on an unforgettable show. Their efforts raised over £7,000, vital funds to help us fight mitochondrial disease, support families and shine a light on this little-known and often-misunderstood condition.

Broadcaster and presenter Adam Leventhal kicked off proceedings, setting the stage for the high-octane action to come. Lily founder and CEO, Liz Curtis, then took to the ring. She thanked the fighters for their extraordinary efforts before showing a short film about Elinor, a young adult who sadly lost her life to mitochondrial disease. Her story brought home the real impact of mito to many in the audience who were new to our cause.

With the crowd buzzing, the fights began. Sky Sports commentator Andy Scott called the action while professional referee Kenny Curtis kept order in the ring. The bouts were fierce, emotional and inspiring, with every boxer showing courage and determination, cheered on by a roaring crowd.

A huge thank you

Lily Fight Night 2025 would not have been possible without the generosity and hard work of so many. Our heartfelt thanks go to Adam Leventhal, Andy Scott, Kenny Curtis and the brilliant team at the Clapham Grand.

A special thank you to Barry O’Connell and the team at State of Mind Fitness for their coaching and ringside support – their dedication ensured our fighters were ready for the challenge.

And of course, last but not least, thank you to our boxers for stepping out of their comfort zone and into the boxing ring. Without you, our knockout night just wouldn’t happen.
