Team Remembering Otto
Otto was born on 3rd September 2022. Two weeks later he was rushed into hospital after multiple seizures and induced into a coma. Following many tests, Otto was diagnosed with a rare genetic metabolic mitochondrial condition, affecting just a handful of children worldwide.
Otto lived a happy life full of love. At just over four months old, Otto made his way to heaven. He passed away peacefully on 24th January 2023, being doted on with love and kisses.

In honour of our beautiful, brave baby boy, we’re raising money for The Lily Foundation, the UK’s leading mitochondrial disease charity and the largest charitable funder of mitochondrial research in Europe. Their mission is to improve the lives of people affected by mitochondrial diseases, whilst working towards a future where mitochondrial diseases can be effectively treated or cured.
Please donate anything and all that you can; we hope to find a cure and spread awareness of such an unknown and underfunded condition. How wonderful knowing that Otto’s legacy has contributed to this.
