Celebrating its fourth year in 2025, Battersea Jazz Festival has become a highlight of London’s summer music scene, bringing together national and international jazz talent across venues in Battersea, Clapham and Nine Elms. With its biggest line-up yet, this year’s event promises to be a celebration of creativity, community and now – thanks to such generous support – compassion.
Music fans can look forward to performances from world-class acts such as Italy’s Daniele Gorgone Trio, USA-based the Gabriele Stravelli Quartet and a host of UK talent including the North London Jazz Collective, Jim Mullen and Christ-Stéphane Boizi.
Highlights of the 10-day event include a spectacular launch party on Monday 30th June with the Hugo Jennings Big Band playing at the iconic jazz venue, Pizza Express Live on Dean Street in Soho. The Clapham Grand will once again host, welcoming London’s biggest Big Band as well as a performance from The Duke Ellington Sacred Concerts featuring the South London Jazz Orchestra and Large Choir.
When the festival organisers announced that they wanted to support The Lily Foundation, it was music to our ears! What a fantastic opportunity to reach a new audience. We’re so grateful to Hugo Jennings and team, because partnerships like this help us to raise vital funds and awareness for families affected by mitochondrial disease and ensure our work can continue to make a difference.
So whether you’re a jazz enthusiast or just looking for a toe-tapping night out, get involved this July and swing the night away for a great cause!
Tickets are just £15 online (£18 on the door), and £20 for the launch party. Visit www.batterseajazzfestival.co.uk to view the full programme and book.
