We’re proud to share the impact of our funded research into vestibular dysfunction – a little-known but life-altering symptom affecting people with mitochondrial disease.

Lily’s Research Manager Maria explains the newly developed framework that’s helping doctors to support those living with balance and dizziness challenges. You’ll also hear from Sarah Holmes, a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist at UCLH, on how this Lily funding has directly supported her work and the patients she helps, as well as led to a further project developing wearable technology to combat balance issues whilst exercising.

Research like this is only possible thanks to your support – and it’s changing lives.
