Run, walk or jog the Chilterns Ultra Challenge – 50km of stunning countryside!

Explore some of the Chilterns’ finest trails, rolling hills, nature reserves and scenic viewpoints.

What to expect

The full 50km loop starts and finishes at Henley Showground, following the Thames to Henley Bridge then out into the countryside along Shakespeare’s Way, Icknield Way and the Chiltern Way.

With over 900m of climb, the route includes rest stops and a halfway point at Lewknor. A 25km option is also available for a shorter but no less impactful adventure. Basecamp offers Friday and Saturday evening camping options (with showers), plus a celebratory meal and bar on the Saturday evening after your tough day out on the trails.
