Location: Zoom

Date: 9 Nov 2026

Join us to explore the possibilities of genetic therapies for mitochondrial disease with Dr Lindsay Wilson from UCL.

Monday 9 November, from 7:30pm (UK time)

Online via Zoom

As part of the LifeArc Centre for Rare Mitochondrial Diseases, Dr Lindsay Wilson from UCL will be presenting an update on the opportunities and challenges of developing genetic therapies for mitochondrial disease, using POLG as an example of work ongoing at UCL.

This will be of particular interest to families who have ever been affected by POLG, but will also be of interest to anyone interested in learning more about gene therapy approaches for mitochondrial disease.

A basic understanding of genetics would be helpful, but we’ll include a short refresher.

To sign up and receive the Zoom link, please fill in your details below.

We’ll also record the session for anyone who can’t join us live.

A big thank you for your support
