Stepping into the ring to fight for a special cause

Harry and Finn, two brave young men who have never set foot in a boxing ring before, have signed up to take part in Lily Fight Night this May. They’d never heard of mitochondrial disease or The Lily Foundation before, so ahead of the big fight we asked them why they’re putting their youthful bodies and good looks on the line for a cause they’ve only just discovered.

This year’s Lily Weekend – the biggest… and best yet!

Last weekend, over 80 families affected by mitochondrial disease came together in Warwickshire for what turned out to be The Lily Foundation’s biggest Family Support Weekend since the event first began. And we know we’re a little biased, but we also think it was our best!

South West Golf Day raises over £12,000 to fight mito

Lily’s very first South West Golf Day tee’d off to great success at Cumberwell Park Golf Club in beautiful Wiltshire last Friday. Thanks to everyone who turned up to enjoy some golf and good fun whilst raising valuable funds to help fight mitochondrial disease.

Mito community connects at Patient Information Day

On a sunny Saturday in April, around 60 patients living with mitochondrial disease and their families, along with a team from The Lily Foundation, made their way to UCL’s Patient Information Day held at the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery.
